Urban Youth Park (UYP) is a community-based youth movement and development organization dedicated to helping children build confidence, resilience, and connection through purposeful physical activity. UYP specializes in parkour-inspired movement programs that are inclusive, age-appropriate, and focused on personal growth rather than competition. Through after-school classes, camps, school partnerships, and community events, Urban Youth Park uses movement as a tool to support social-emotional development, leadership skills, and positive self-identity. Programs are led by trained coaches who prioritize safety, encouragement, and respectful participation. Each experience is designed to help kids build confidence, improve coordination and body awareness, develop problem-solving skills, and engage positively with peers in a supportive environment. The organization’s coaching philosophy is guided by four core values: Passion, Adaptability, Responsibility, and Kindness, which shape both instruction and culture. These values help create environments where kids feel seen, supported, and challenged in healthy, meaningful ways. Urban Youth Park serves children and families primarily in elementary and middle school communities and works closely with partners who share a commitment to youth development, wellness, education, and community connection. Urban Youth Park’s mission is to change the lives of 10,000 families by building 20 communities rooted in movement, growth, and connection.
